Why I use sea moss gel as a face mask...
Because sea moss is rich in sulfur, it has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help combat acne and aging skin. When applied as a mask, it has a very soothing quality that some people even use to help with eczema, dermatitis, burns and psoriasis.
Some of the ways that sea moss can help the skin:
- Decreases inflammation in the skin.
- Hydrates skin and gives it a natural glow.
- Heals damaged/irritated skin.
- Prevents breakouts.
Directions
After washing your face, apply a thin layer of sea moss gel and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Then, rinse with lukewarm water and moisturize.
